Our Programs
At the heart of Women Concern’s mission is our women-led Ultra-Poor Graduation (UPG) strategy—a transformative pathway out of extreme poverty. Programs are community-driven, identifying the most vulnerable women and providing sequenced support to achieve sustainable livelihoods.
Address urgent vulnerabilities through food, hygiene products, and health care to restore dignity and readiness for development.
Women receive practical vocational training based on market demand—agriculture, cookstove production, tailoring, and non-farm trades.
Providing seed capital or equipment to launch small businesses or agricultural activities, empowering women to be self-sufficient.
Through Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs), women access savings and credit, allowing reinvestment and economic stability.
Each woman receives personalized mentorship in goal setting, financial literacy, leadership, and confidence-building.
Our UPG approach ensures that no woman is left behind—empowering women to graduate from extreme poverty to sustainable livelihoods.
